Re: [HumJanenge] UNITY and Unification in RTI movement

Dear Mr. K K Rao,

What i will do the list will only be known only after reading the names mentioned in the list?  Before seeing the list or uncertain about its existence, it seems that it may be a ploy to defame and discourage the rti activists and whistle blowers.
I was surprised at such a childish question.  Everybody would be interested to know the names of persons who are purportedly involved in anti-national activities and would like to know the factual position.

Subject: Re: [HumJanenge] UNITY and Unification in RTI movement

In every corner of the country,RTI Activists nrrd to take a copy of
CIC circular and seek from the HODs/PIOs reasons for not compling with
the CIC directives  and seek most immediate action,in letterand
spirit.
Specifically the response must cover lack of
technology/procedures/trained personnel/budgetry
allocation/leadership/time resourse.
There's adequate response, infact available for all the factors to
counter the lethargy/will power.
Shockingly the Central/State Government who MUST have set up
monitoring mechanism and provided adequate resourses for
result-oriented approach,in time-bound manner have miserably failed to
achieve the (laudable) objective.Mere lip sympathy and narration of
worthless statistics are touted as achievements and lame duck excuses
are reiterated  to cover up for gross and unpardonable failure.
Petitions obtained from hundreds and thousands for effective
implementation of sec 4 of the Act(as also concomitant CIC circular)
would put constant pressure on the  Establishment, specially if bad
press for negligence could be managed for failure to attend to
Statatutory mandates/obligations.
We also need to think in terms of special issues of all important
print periodicals on implementation of RTI Act,2005.The media also
needs to be effectively roped in,in this noble venture.Og course
without any angle of publicity or internal wranglings amongst RTI
Groups/NGOs,as it might only weaken the common cause.
I have been repeatedly praying that our posts be confined only to
professional issues, using graceful language alone. We gain nothing in
short/long run in internal quiblings and in name-calling etc.The
respect of the movement itself is lost,or at least diminished that
way.
Requesting the esteemed members to comment upon the issues raised.

PS By chance if any member has any RTI or non-RTI related issue(even
personal one) to be discussed with me seperately ,for whatever
reason,one could do so on 24*7 basis,without any hitch,as in 40 years
of self-less public service I've had privilege and honour to provide
succour to innumerable people
