Re: [HumJanenge] CIC bungles (and loses) yet again in LPA: Delhi High Court

1) Can someone explain why the CIC too should not be penalised for filing their LPA LATE by 39 days. This is getting to be a bit of a habit - the SLP they filed against DDA & me was filed late by 60+ days, and I still haven't been served despite 2 notices from the court.

2) Should the CIC not be penalised for wasting taxpayers money in bakwaas appeals without a ghost of a chance of suceeding. Its all very well to blame the judges /CJ, but even a cursory reading of the order shows that the penalty was not really on. The information sought could not be expected to be available with PIOs and would require to be created / compiled..

3) Why didn't Prashant Bhushan argue this matter for CIC? Its getting to be a habit for PB to throw cases involving the CIC.

4) About the PIO paying for these penalty petitions. The jurisdiction of the PHC is limited to Punjab & Haryana. When Justice Muralidhar doesn't respect judgments of the Delhi HC given by his brothers then fat chance that he'll follow a PHC one.

5) Lastly, the WPC citation in the LPA judgment is wrong (WPC-11576/2009).
Can you provide the case title, single judge citation and the CIC order link ??

I think this is an important ground on which single judge (murlidhar)
order should be challenged where he is routinely interfering in
penalty cases.
