Re: [HumJanenge] Corrupt Rich India versus Poor Real India

RSS & Anna Hazare between Housewives & Farmers

Ms. Rebecca Kurien,

You as a housewife represent all households in India and feeding 1200 million Indians and 800 million farmers provide all the food but for foods you housewives pay Rs.50 per kg for Onions and Rs.100 per kg for Apples farmers get just Rs.2-5 per kg for Onions and Rs.10 to Rs.20 per kg for Apples. Middlemen and traders make sure majority of us are underfed, starve and perpetually remain poor.

RSS who orchestrated this Tamasha didn't want any law to rein in Middlemen. Anna Hazare was absent when Housewives were charged over Rs.50 per kg for all vegetables –

-When traders were openly and nakedly indulging in Public Loot.

In 1991 PEPSI installed India's largest food processing plant and farmers were contracted at Rs.0.83 per kg or Rs.830 per tone of first quality Tomato. In very first season farmers produced many times the capacity of the plant that most farmers had to dump their load by roadsides – there was very long queue outside plant. Housewives in Delhi were charged Rs.16 per kg.

India can be Rich, Healthy and Hunger Free.

Likewise when housewives paid Rs.500 for a Polyester Sari in 1980's, Reliance of Ambanis ex factory price was Rs.25 per kg or it cost RIL Rs.12 only. RIL operated clandestine operations most of its Polyester Sarees were labeled 'Made in Japan' and to fraudulently Rob Housewives of monthly salary of their spouses for a saree.

So the real issue before us is not Corruption but Corporate, Bania & Traders Loot that has Crippled Indian economy and rendered us unhealthy and weak.

RSS BJP to perpetuate their Loot & Plunder rakes up Caste and Communal issues and divides us since founding in 1925.

Corruption –

Even to sell a basket of Banana vendors need license. But when almost all business and trade operate without licenses and carrying out illegal businesses there is going to be corruption everywhere.

Anna himself couldn't make much in farming as member of a joint family and started road side Flower shop in Mumbai without license and invited his brothers to join in.

RSS and Anna don't want 'Illegal Traders' to shut down or take licenses and give full accounts of income and expenditure.

People who really suffered most due to corruption & loot were not represented and people who bribe from the day of birth were all over at Jantar Mantar.

My Campaigns

Anna Hazare first campaigned in 1995 against some minister who used to sell Cinema Tickets in Black, at that point I was campaigning for Corruption in big projects and creating inventions for 20 years or since 1975.

Hidden Agenda - Politically motivated RSS BJP campaign on 2G on Poll Eve was against all housewives and farmers and majority, we all using Outdated 2G technology phones shall pay for 2G/3G/4G licenses. Rich and influential use 'Unlimited Plans for a low price.'

Mr. Ravinder Singh,

To date, you haven't said anything positive about any group of people in this nation..I do agree with some points you raise from time to time but when I think of all the negative and bizarre things you come up with quite often, those points lose any importance..

Can you start seeing something positive in what is going on with the youth of our country right now under Anna Hazare? I am a humble housewife and € ¢Â I agree with the majority of ordinary people in this nation when they say we need to put an end to the shameless, corrupt ways of people here. It is not just politicians but also bureaucrats who need to be exposed. Exposing them is easy enough but bringing the exposure to some kind of logical conclusion, imprisoning them for long period and taking the money they have stolen from us back from them are difficult tasks. Have you done anything like that? Have you spearheaded any movement like Anna Hazare has? Have you taken part in any grassroots level uprising against anything other than on E-lists? I am just curious, that is all.

I am a Christian. I don't think of myself as a Christian when I consider myself an Indian who is affected by all the corruption that is prevalent in this country at all levels. I am sure that is true of any citizen of India. So, why are you talking about who Anna Hazare is representing? He is representing me because I am € ¢Â a citizen of India. There are many things that have to be worked out but this is a good and necessary beginning in this country so starved of role models. The only models our youth have to see are on the catwalks, in Bollywood or in the world of cricket. That is not enough for our youth..

So let us not take away from this movement and instead, contribute whatever we can to the youth of this country. Just like the feeling of let-down we have with many politicians who are self-serving and of criminal mentality, we can handle some amount of disappointment even if the results of this uprising are less than perfect. There are enough sincere people in this movement who will deal with what needs to be corrected..The point is: something momentous has been started and instead of picking irrelevant holes in that, let us think positively..

The fact is Hazare's fast has caught (at least a section of) public imagination. That's why an unwilling government is negotiating and bending in installments.

There can't be any denying of that.

And a good law definitely helps.

The danger is of course in projecting Hazare as a sort of Superman, the
grand Saviour of the Nation. That does seriously undermine democratic values
within and without the campaign against corruption.

Yes, I do understand your position. I must say that I am also aware that there can be many problems if certain details are not taken into consideration and clarified. I would like to think that with so many sincere people involved, thee should be a good possibility of things being steered in the right direction. Needless to add, accountability is very necessary.

My point would be that since a beginning has been made, many areas of our life in India can be cleaned up now. It is not going to happen overnight, there will be glitches, disappointments, personality clashes.. Otherwise, this won't be India! Still, what we need is for lethargy to be replaced by enthusiasm and sincere desire to bring about clean governance and maybe even a slightly different system of govt. I am not suggesting anything drastic but if the way "democracy" has functioned in our country is any indication of how badly it can be done in a country with so many illiterate people where money speaks louder than values and principles or a system based on honour, maybe we need to do things differently. What we know as "democracy" seems to breed criminals in Parliament, goondagiri flourishes, the common man has absolutely no say in the matter of who gets to sit in Parliament, where our voices are not heard or heeded by anyone.. What might be the way

forward? I am sure there are enough people out there who are thinking of all these things just like the leaders of yesteryears wondered how Independent India should go forward..

So, all the people who have ideas and are not sure how others will do the work, go out there and do something.. That is the only way forward..Lead the youngsters with your wisdom and caution..All power to you!

Rebecca.

I am being prosecuted by the CBI for writing a book exposing corruption in RAW. Three years ago, I approached Arvind Kejriwal who put me through  to Mr Prashant Bhushan. I had several meetings with him and also gave a presentation before the Citizens Forum Against Corruption. Once he was convinced of the genuineness of my case, he agreed to take it on, gratis. During the last three years, there have been dozens of hearings in the Delhi High Court. Unless he has a case in the Supreme Court at the same time, he always attends personally. Prashant Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal and Admiral RH Tahliani even took a delgation to the CVC to ask him to investigate the instances of corruption that I had formally reported to him.

It is true that Prashant Bhushan does charge fees (nominal, compared to others) to sustain his office expenses and his staff. But 75% of the cases he takes on are free. Hari Goyal should check his facts bbefroe making false allegations against a respected and selfless person  like Prashant Bhushan.

Mr. Milap Choraria,

RTI activists should not indulge in raising appeals. Any whre dynastic decisions particulalry in politics have ruined this country and you are voting for it.
Mr. Prashant Bhushan is billionnaire. He takes the cases of only rich people (corrupt rich India and not of common man - the Real India). Baba Ram Dev
has raised an important question. A person who does not know how much injustice is done to poor people, how can he represent their aspirations? Do you
know his fee for a CASE? On my personal experience, I can say that Baba Ram Dev,s opposition is well justified. Gight against corruption is long perhAPS
a few generations will have to fight. In the beginning itself, Anna Hazare Ji should not have accepted this without having got litmus test like Congress CM
of Delhi refusing to take action against a corrupt minister on the recommendation of Delhi Lok Ayukta who earned powers on the basis of Dellhi Lokayukta Act
of 1998. Rathwer she is challenging his authority. This may happen when Jan Lok Pal Bill chairman makes any recommendation against a minister or bureacrat
and a corrupt P.M. may not take any action. Real India will have to remain a mute spectator.
UPA Govt. in the Centre particularly Congress and DMK wanted to buy time to reduce negative effects of this agitation
AND SIBAL  HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL.

Subject: [rtitimes] Appeal to Swami Ramdevji to forward his full support to Committee's Penal Members from Civil Society including Shri Shanti Bhusanji and Shri Prashant Bhusanji
To: rtitimes@freelists.org

Swami Ramdevji expressed his concerned claiming that appointment of Shri Shanti Bhusanji and Shri Prashant Bhusan is also a dynastic appointment in Drafting Committee for Lokpal Bill.

Shri Shanti Bhusanji is just not a former Law Minister, rather he was known fighter against political corruption, since he fought Famous Election Petition in Allahabad High Court on behalf of Shri Raj Narayan against Smt. Indira Gandhi. He is one of the important legal luminaries of India.

Shri Prashant Bhusanji, no doubt is son of Shri Shanti Bhusanji, but he himself proved as very competent Supreme Court Lawyer, without taking any advantage of the name and fame of his father. He filed several petitions, concerned to Larger Public Interests and also against corruption related matter. He was dare to face contempt Petition initiated against him in the Supreme Court, because he raised a very important issue, of ethnic values.

Both Shri Shanti Bhusanji and Shri Prashant Bhusanji involved in drafting of Jan Lokpal Bill. I think we could not have able to suggest any better name for Co-Chairman than Shanti Bhusanji. If we opposing the name of Shri Prashant Bhusanji, we are trying to damage the efficacy which may contain in the Lokpal Bill, if its drafted by the present Drafting Committee, having with its members including Shri Shanti Bhusanji and Shri Prashant Bhusanji.

Therefore, this is my appeal to Swami Ramdevji, kindly withdraw his opposition against appointment of Shri Shanti Bhusanji and Shri Prashant Bhusanji by Shri Anna Hazare, and should forward his full support to Committee's Penal Members from Civil Society.

TRUTH SHALL ALWAYS PREVAIL
