Re: [HumJanenge] Information Commission, Maharashtra

RTI should have been a very stron tool in a vibrant society.
But in a degraded society like ours it is not going to help us...
at the best it may creat a comfortable feeling of having a tool to fingt...
and boast of ...
And the Lok pal would not be different too..
Because all of them are created against corruption - the symptom... not
against the cause.
and the biggest difficiancy is that all thome are made mistaking the
corruption as the real cause.

Subject: [HumJanenge] Information Commission, Maharashtra

For last 4 RTI Applications, The Information Commission of Maharshtra has
been ignoring them. They do not even respond the the First Appeal. Needless
to say that I have filed second appeal in all the cases, however I find
myself very frustrated. If the Information commission itself acts in such
reckless manner how do you suppose the rest of the government agencies will
follow RTI.

I have also send a notice to Information Commission under the consumer
protection Act.

Does anyone has any advice or suggestions that I can use?

Regards
