Re: [HumJanenge] Blast at Delhi High Court

Why NO HEADS roll at appropriate levels after such serious lapses / failurse ?  How would accountability come otherwise ? Authorities can innovate ways to harass common citizen only
USA has not had a single such case after 9/11 because of the fear of accountability. High time some accountability concept brought in for governance in India.

Y IS PRESS NOT CLAMORING FOR ACCOUNTABILITY on behalf of citizens after such instances ?

We r least concern on our security matters,we gen live on ad hoc arrangements like the one u have mentioned here.this can certainly better managed n it will be done now only after a blast n loss of few life which may not be important to our high up but no less important to their families. time n again such blasts r taking place in our metros spec in Delhi but no serious efforts to make a fool proof security system in place even after a lot of int warnings.A common man is help less here too n what to do but to die every day again n again.

Dear Friends

I was within the Delhi High Court at 10:14 AM when  powerful blast
shook the building, resulting in hundreds of people being affected. In
fact I was standing at the very spot where the blast took place at
about 9:45 AM.

The blame for this incident lies squarely at the door of the Chief
Justice of Delhi High Court. I had filed RTIs recently to the Court
highlighting the problems litigants like me faced to enter the court
and make passes strongly emphasising the "threat to life and limb" of
litigants by the encroachment on the pavements by the advocates and
court . Recent security measures introduced by the Registrar/DHC like
insisting on photo-ID and making applicants for gate passes sign in
their presence have increased the queques. Only 3 functioning counters
to issue passes, senior advocates parking their BMWs on the footpath
where the passes are issued. In the SC the pass section is inside the
controlled area and they have about 15 functioning counters. And so
on.
