Re: [HumJanenge] Hindu Story Kejriwal Took FF $0.569m Donations, RSS Support

Let this wholly misplaced conception get evaporated that there're SECRET SOCIRTIES(who coined this phrase from nowhere by the way?) of officers.
Isn't my identity clearly established? Are further details reqd? Just because some professionals work sincerely/industriously but more quietly(conditioned on account of Conduct Rules),doesn't by any stretch of imagination mean that they constitute some sort of SECRET SOCIET. And the comparison is weird and Quixotic. No undue complexities need be created in dealing with a matter of serious import and no insinuations be made in total ignorance. We have great respect for different contributors,no matter the conrent, and expect quid pro quo for maintaining requisite standards of decency and decor.
And we mean (strict) business.
What is required is a revolution in thinking of some doubting Thomases. For they know not what they are talking.Knowing one' own area of specialisation doesn't empower anyone in making derogatory/baseless comments. It only exposes their ignorance and haughty nature for which there're no takers And there shouldn't be.
Surprisingly there's great deal of commonality in views of many members, but for peculiar reasons, instead of harmonising the conflicting views, within the civilisational norms, the oddities are given undue importance and blown out of proportion.
Let me summarise:
*There's no difference of opinion that there's wide spread corruption at differen levels(political/administrative/operational)
*There's no difference of opinion that appropriate measures are required to be taken by all stakeholders to combat/control the malaise, interalia, other challenges facing the nation/humanity.
*There is no division of opinion that the current measures have consistenly failed in anywhere giving a ray of hope that the ardous journey is going to get completed soon.
*There is no difference in our thinking that mere one or more of new Statuates would hardly provide succour in sorting the complex scenario out.Even those shouting from house top- for getting attention in questionable ways- to declare any Statuate as panacea agree to the hoax played on the gullible masses)
However, dear colleagues, not many might be aware that through SYSTEM'S approach even the most complex/challenging issues/situations can be tackled. That this is not the best forum to comprehensively cover the theory and practice of what I'm hinting at ,is obvious.
No one is obliged to agree to my humble submissions. Not at all.No need to.But that doesn't dampen our iron clad resolve.
A good Statuate(LP for instance) is NECESSARY but not SUFFICIENT(students of Science/Maths/Philosophy would tend to agree to the proposition).Same is the case with a wide variety of other Statuates. No different is the case with various measures to be adopted by diverse stakeholders.
Its the SYNERGY,thats the game changer, dear friends.
Not a ROCKET SCIENCE by any standard.A nation where, they say the Sun never set,is a nation where the Sun seldom rises. It happened and happened w/o bloodbath. The change in the form of Indian Republic has survived.
Aren't we all at this juncture capable of repeat(or better) performance? And w/o bloodbath, too?
Its neither wishful thinking nor rhetoric to say loudly

YES WE CAN                                 And later some time-------YES WE HAVE.

We can make, and be a part of treasureworty HISTORY.

We are not even asking for "blood","toil" and "sweat".
We only humbly pray for jettisioning,as early as possible, the pessimism and see the current glass half full. It'll be full soon.

As in over four decades of public service,I'll continue to be game to respond to any (searching) query,to the best of my ability.
My last prayer is:pl make the very best use of the forum to advace the lofty cause on hand in mostfocussed/ innovative/imaginative ways.Under no circumstance let there be digressions/deviations from the chosen track.Personal villifications be avoided like plague.Subject matter and content be the only concern of the contributors.
Its going to be a pleasant story of MISSION POSSIBLE.
S P MATHUR
PS:  Sorry for a bit long post. Was essential possibly to sety the record straight and to make sure that silence is not interpreted as mute acceptance of conjectures and wild insinuations. We professionals don't cherish that prospect.

Synergy could be the game changer

The solution/cure is always flexible and depends on the extent of the problem.

We all seem to be agreed that corruption in India is fairly bad. In such circumstances should we

a) Have faith in homeopathic / placebo solutions like LokPal

b) Have faith in the sheep-like minds (or non-minds) of the average India. Let us not forget that it is the sheep which votes corrupt govts  (Cong / BJP / Left / Regionals) etc into power every time. To expect democratic sheep to become wise tigers is quite unrealistic

So, either we say that corruption in India is mild enough for homeopathic solutions, or we acknowledge that the disease can only be solved by radical means. Even Revolutions are not radical enough for me - so it must be.an "otherwise"

BTW: I agree with Mr Sant Mathur that there are far too many ignorant / vested people who are hijacking platforms for reform. I am not as sanguine as he is that "secret societies" of allegedly honest Police Officers / Army Officers / Judges etc will do the trick. All these secret societies (SaiBabaists / Ramdevians / FreeMasons / Rotarians / IndiaTopCops  etc ad infinitum) are inherently corrupt and self serving - merely substituting one set of "pigs" (1984) for another

Well said Sri Sarbajit Roy. But do we have any alternative than a Democratic way - unless you are advocating a revolution / uprising (bloody or otherwise)

SirTo expect that any efective anti-corruption solution is going to emerge through democratic / Parliamentary process is the height of wishful thinking. I look forward to hearing about your game-changing scenario as and when it takes place. As for me, I firmly believe that when you see cockroaches (creatures as old as corruption itself) the only remedy is to HIT them.Sarbajit
