Re: Fwd: [rti4empowerment] NEW AMENDMENT RULES TO RTI ACT IN KARNATAKA STATE

Dear Gupthaji,
I am really surprised that you presume a few of us do not work under one banner . Nor your advice is Apt in so far as that it is not the Fact of one banner or working in tandem which is our problem . I Have very Consiouslly Not NAMED CERTAIN PERSONS , whom i am aware are Members of this group placed right in bangalore but do  not wish to join hands with us , nor subsribe to our thoughts and actions .
We in karnataka are aware who they are and know how they work . if you look into history also when we got fredom therewere people From both ends , i only Coin them as SATHYASHODAK's and SATHYAPRAVAHI's ( because my family did have both of them) and ultimately fredom was achived by the thoughts and actions of both these school of Thoughts.
The Ego and One upmanship that i Spoke in My first mail on this thread is not at all of us whose emails Appear . These People use Psuedonyms and have thier own Masters .
A reliasation of some of them happened in Febraury 2011 when in a meeting of kIC/DPAR?GOK and Civil society these people wanted and tried their level best to find places and spaces for themselves ignoring all others . For your information i was not at in that meet because i was not Informed of the meeting well in advance . This is initself one of the methodology they use to userp others rights .
So POOR Vikram or Shashi kumar and all their ilk have to fight on two fronts one inside and one outside . Mr Guptha ji , therfore they require all the sympathy's from all others and only Solace to all are that they are not "ARMCHAIR ACTIVISTS"

I call upon Vikram, Shashi Kumar ji and all other to work under ne banner forgetting thier personal differences.  Do not give any chance to KSIC to exploit the situation and work at its whims and fancies, forgetting the Act.

Dear Friends

I have read this Karnataka RTI related thread quite carefully.

It appears that RTI activists from Karnataka lag behind the rest of
India quite considerably (second in their egos only to my friends from
Maharashtra) and the situation is easily exploited by the SCIC to
divide and rule.

It is far better that the RTI Act is scrapped in Karnataka before such
actions expand to the rest of India (like that 150 word per RTI rule).
