[HumJanenge] IMPORTANT MAIL (Future direction of this List)

Friends

In this email,IAC "India Against Corruption Collective" National Head Quarters "HQ" will clarify many of the issues in brief, and separate emails on will be issued on specific topics / action points.

1.
This list was needed because of certain recent developments within the IAC family/movement and certain cyber hacking incidents which took place after that. Specifically the development of Arvind camp to establish a political party which many IAC workers/volunteers do not support. It is clarified that this mailing list is neutral and does not take sides between workers on either or any side.

2.
This mailing list henceforth will only transmit official and semi -official emails from IAC HQ which are on policy, operations or policy development for the entire IAC movement or on information / news issues which are urgent in nature.

3. Because inner democracy has been suppressed for so long at IAC due to personality based activities, a healthy outpouring of appreciation and criticism of IAC has taken place on this list in past 2 days. With so many emails being exchanged many receipients are finding their inboxes (especially corporate email inboxes) overloaded. A healthy tradeoff must be maintained between right to express and right to receive. Till we can achieve this, members are requested not to post to this list.

4.
Because, we value feedback and participation of the IAC workers and volunteers, separate networked forums have been opened to carry on the participatory discussion and to maintain transparency and democracy. Frank and free discussion is encouraged in these forums to ensure that there are no personality cults in IAC - EVER !. Anyone can open a network meeting IAC requirements and affiliate to IAC HQ. Details of these forums / groups / networks will be given separately.

5.
The need of the hour is DISCIPLINED computer & internet aware volunteers who are prepared to devote at least 1 hour each day for the movement. If you can do so please follow these steps EXACTLY.

a) Send an email with subject "I VOLUNTEER" to "volunteer.iac.hq@gmail.com"
b) If you are a retired armed forces or ex-police officer with more time to spare please give us your last rank, as we need people to supervise and direct our internet volunteers.

6) Lastly. If you want to leave the mailing list, kindly do not send or reply to other members or cc them. Instead do this EXACTLY
a) Visit https://lists.riseup.net/www/info/indiaagainstcorruption
b) Click on "Unsubscribe" link in the left menu bar.

From now on, IAC will not manually unsubscribe existing members.

7) We can tell you Arvind was not inclined to reply to 27 queries addressed to him by a Congress Party spokesperson. However, in interest of transparency and wishes expressed by several members of this list that he should clarify/reply, Arvind has now agreed that short replies to many of the queries posed to him on this mailing list can be issued by IAC.
