[HumJanenge] Re: FOR BETTER FUTURE

I agree with you. This is better than getting the old political parties and netas again and again as they do not deserve another chance until they come out cleaner.

FOR BETTER FUTURE:

The present trend of immoral and irresponsible governance is fast changing the democracy to anarchy. Rampant corruption at the top has corrupted the mass psyche. Ministers and MPs think they are the rulers like maharajas and their acts are beyond questioning by the public. We are the "mango people in banana state" Some one high up is shaming the citizens and the nation in the same breath without regret. This trend must stop. Present system could be changed for good if a majority of honest people could be placed in the Assemblies and Parliament. Honesty then would flow from the top to bottom as the corruption is flowing now. Would it be impossible to find a few hundred honest ones from a population of 120 million? We have no choice but to give a chance to the new set of would be politicians in the parties of Kejriwal and Ramdev. They want to form their own political parties; oust the present corrupt government and give honest governance by winning elections within the existing democratic frame work. How many honest one they can get and how long they will remain honest only time will tell? But we see a better choice in them. They have no grass root political infrastructure and resources to fight elections where money, cast and minorities play crucial role, so let us fight with them. The plus point is that they have wide support on their "Mudda" of corruption and a clean image. Nothing will change till their party is in majority in the parliament which may be a distant dream but worth public support being the only hope for corruption free governance. They are honest men of character to be relied upon.
Anna Hazare and Civil Society is creating Jan Gagran: They want to support honest political candidates from out side. They are going to ask the public to vote the honest representatives whether independent or in any party without themselves entering into actual politics. This is a flawed concept."Neki kar kuen mei daal". Because the candidates fighting elections are not and will not be in Anna's control. How he or anybody else can guarantee for their honesty after they are elected. Their loyalty will be either to their party or to themselves. Anna would be irrelevant to them after elections and Anna's all efforts will go waste. His movement got big support on corruption eradication platform but lost its sheen later because people have to do their jobs and can not sit on fast for long and go to support someone who is not Anna's man. I think Anna should openly support Kejriwal and Ramdev's party candidates because they can not bring dubious characters to contest after speaking and acting so much against corruption.
My kudos to Anna, Ramdev and Kejriwal in particular and their teams for waking up the nation by mass movement against corruption in the government and speaking so strongly and loudly against the most powerful family of India and ministers involved in corruption. This has happened for the first time after independence. Kejriwal is demanding to register criminal cases against law minister Khurshid and Sonia Gandhi's son in law Robert Vadra. The whole government is defending Sonia Gandhi and Vadra but they are keeping quite for the reasons known to them but better known to all intelligent people. We as responsible citizens must do whatever in our capacity to save our democracy from turning to anarchy and support Kejriwal and Ramdev's political parties.
