Dear Dolphy, Sujit, Navnith etc.

Hi, I'm Ashish, list-owner of both the IAC & indiaagainstcorruption mailing lists.

The IAC list (now 12,000+ subscribers) is meant for the IAC which will come after Arvind & friends leave us. OTH,  the indiaagainstcorruption mailing list (270 subscribers (is for Arvind's Core Committee team)

We have all been watching these scenes of the pots calling the kettle black and vice versa and asking each other to shut up.

If you don't mind my saying so, all of you make one serious and fatal assumption.

You assume that somebody has to take up the cause of the underdog, ie. go among them, organise them, speak for them, get their legitimate rights for them and so on and so forth.

With a little introspection, any normal person will realise that this model is completely flawed and bogus and leads to formation of vested interests (NGOs) and their fake "leaders" who purport to speak for (and keep in line) their constituencies.

The NGO model itself breeds a cycle of scrabbling for financing ("singing for their supper"), and playing the numbers game and prostituting themselves before the media and financiers.

In the process individuals (ie. citizens) get reduced to nothing as their individual rights get vastly diminished in the collective (A beehive has 1 queen but thousands of drones). Every time somebody even joins, say, a Residents Welfare Association (RWA), he legitimises the permanent cancellation of his right to speak as an individual.

If you have noticed, we allow every of our 12,000+ members to post messages.

The sooner we all realise that people like Anna, Arvind, Medha, Agnivesh, Aruna, Harsh, Sandeep, Nikhil etc. are all LAZY PARASITES who contribute nothing except sucking the energy and hope of the underdogs the faster IAC's problems will be solved.

Can anybody tell us if even a single one of them is capable of doing an honest days labour ? The bitter truth is that they are now professional agitators and/or lazy bums associated with some extremely corrupt persons, who had organised this 'tamasha' of IAC and NAC (that too with our borrowed name) to sing, and dance and collect huge unaccounted funds to line their pockets and be public saints by day and private devils at night.

What the IAC, ie, our REAL and TRUE Jan Andolan believes is quite different.

A - We believe in empowering the individual directly.
B - We believe that no man speaks for another.
C - We believe in the co-operative division of tasks among like-minded people
D- We believe that each individual has the innate capacity to solve his own problems
E- We believe in the Indian Nation and the system of Governance we had given to ourselves when we extracted Independence from our foreign oppressors .
F- We firmly believe that if the Nation and its organs of Governance are not functioning for the good of the body, then it's cancerous cells (or if needed the entire organ itself) must be destroyed or replaced with extreme despatch.
G- We firmly believe it was the violent  blood of our fore-fathers which won us Freedom, and we are the children of that Revolution.

BTW: Please TRIM your emails while posting to our lists. Blackberry Boyz like Manish (Sisodia) have tremendous problems with this group super long emails.

With best wishes

I do agree with Sujit.

Many of us are arm chair critics and never want to soil our hands with down the earth campaigns.

Both Medha Patkar and Swami Agnivesh have done the best in their own capacities.

If others have the courage they should take up causes of the underdog or shut their mouths and not add to the cacaphony.
