Re: [IAC#RG] Basic ingredients of IAC

1) Yes, Ms Bedi did request that her email ID be removed from IAC's lists.

2)  Anna Hazare is cheduled to address a public meeting at Patna on 30.Jan,2013 (Gandhi anniversary). This program was fixed in Aug 2012. It is organised as part of the "Anna Hazare Movement Against Corruption".  [http://joinannahazare.org.in/index.aspx ]  website registered to his BVJA at Ralegan Siddhi on 9.Oct.2012 and which is essentially  soliciting DONATIONS for his cause. IAC has no problems with Anna Hazare's core philosophy as long as he sticks to it and is not mislead by corrupt people who use (or misuse) him like a taxi..

3) It is possible that "Team Anna" may still be using the tag-line/banner of India Against Corruption at local levels to establish their "continuity" with the anti-corruption movement. Aam Aadmi Party is also doing the same in their recruitment drives/banners (despite their agreement not to do so).

4) The owners of the India Against Corruption "brand" will take strong action (not limited to legal action) against anyone still collecting funds in name of IAC.

Almost a month ago, I read a note from Ms. Bedi that her name should be removed
from the list because she was no longer part of IAC. Is this true?

Is IAC w/ Anna going to address the nation from Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Jan. 30th?

Best wishes,

Kumar Arun

To 'Respect' does not mean to 'Accept' the views.

As I understand, this list has the following basic ingredients:

a) there are no subscribers who align themselves with the AAP
b) it is apolitical and believes in making the system accountable and making it work 'for the people'
c) that Sarbajit Roy is the Convenor of IAC

Please let me know if the understanding is correct.

If it is correct, then the subscribers need to respect the views of the Convenor.

Regards
