Re: [IAC#RG] Welcome raid by CBI

Not sure whether i hold the moral right to say this.

Are these blogs & mails taking us anywhere?  Is there traction in our struggle? If not why do we spend time more meaningfull things

CBI is often accused of selectively targeting a few corrupt persons  and criminals   and ignoring many other equally corrupt and criminal
elements ,  which  may be true .  However, the fact is that whoever comes under  CBI   enquiry are those who are known to be involved  in
corrupt or criminal activities.

When Stalin's house in Chennai was raided by CBI, many people said that it could be a political vendetta. While the affected  politicians always
say this, millions of Indians who have now become  mere spectators from the gallery ,think that the politicians are more often than not corrupt
persons  and CBI's action is  justified and needed.    When  such raids take place against a politician , the people who protest are those like
Mayawati ,  Mulayam Singh ,  Lalu Prasad Yadav or Karunanidhi .

The country  men are hoping   that there would be atleast  a few honest and committed officers in CBI , who would stand  to protect probity in
public life  and defend the national integrity at any cost.

One only hopes that the officers in CBI and the judges in the courts would realise the importance and significance of the positions that they have
come to occupy and India's  prospects of progressing as a corrupt free country   now largely   remain in their hands ; with political system having
largely  gone into the hands of corrupt and criminal elements.
