Re: [IAC#RG] India Broke

If its possible to outline the areas of serious debate in the
country, and then prepare concept paper on each with SWOT analysis,
and throw the issues,in prioritised manner to the country people, more
enlightened(and less heated) discourse will follow.
Its important for all sections of society, country wide to be well
informed of the issues,so as to distinguish between hype and hope, and
between lopsided thinking and holistic approach.
Shockingly a simple looking system's approah to address the complex
issues is eschewed in favour of meandering and meaningless criss-cross
chat.
Decisions need to be taken using creative thinking processes(say',as
advocated by Edward de Bono,in his ten principles, famously called
DATT(Direct Attention Thinking Tools).Pl google and get a hang of the
idea missing hitherto with most,if not all.
There also is need for the people to be aware of the fallacies used by
politicos, specially the more adept legal luminaries, inbeguiling and
bewitching the largely gullible masses.Pl google and understand what
has happened through millenia,is now happening at unprecedented
scale..
The current issue is:Fiscal
deficit, virtually signalling bankruptcy,on account of populist
schemes,while showing,still,developmental ethos.
There is no research on KNIs(Key National
Indicators),as,in fact the concept itself is alien to the State and
its most famous apparatus:Planning Commission of India. I know for
sure as my detailed discussions with high and mighty in that
organisation(done during my doctoral thesis work) have frevealed
various faultlines there. There is no research as what optimisation
model,or specific outcome-oriented governance,that organisation is
aiming for all these decades.
Politicians are free to decide on freebees(public
money for purely political gains in the garb of so called public
interest),as also on subsidies, and nature of reservations etc. What is
the best strategic approach to subserve the larger public interest--as
discerned through enlightened debate/discourse,not merely in
Parliament, but at wider level,to take care of "participative nature of
democreacy,on place of representative nature, wronly adhered to so
far--is just not known to any one .NOT KNOWN TO ANY ONE.
Can this forum, through crowd sourcing technique come
up with greater enlightenment of the people?
Surely,it can. It should.Where stuck up for clarity get
info through RTI,or else through open sources.Even a good
approximation will be better than the current befuddling/confusing
picture.
Pl don't get distracted in worthless directions.Let
trivia not subsume precious energy of the actvist lot.Let issues, not
personalities,be the focus of discourse. It shouldn't be a forum to
give vent to some pent up feelings, but to make systematic contribution
to the eternal philosophy: Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina,Sarve Santu
Niramaya. Its articulated in all faiths/constitutions,in some way or
the other, and is ingrained in Indian psyche, very specially.
India resists.India understands.India advances.
The "shine","incredible","outperforms","dominates"---all could follow
as natural corollaries. As day folllows the night.
As regards
corruption issue is concerned,a document sent to the Standing
Committee of the Parliament on LPB could be shared,on getting green
signal from the Forum Administrator. It will pleasanty surprise all,as
its the culmination of vast research and realistic understanding of
the present and potential scenario, and collaborative thinking of large
number of ACTUAL practioners/professional in the field.
