The sports are now owned by Mafias.Cricket,Football,Rughby,Etc,are attracting Gamblors,smugglers,money launderers.Public at large loose lot of money.There is no fair game or play.The Media has played a negative role in glamourising sportspersons through Advertisements.So for the Sake Of money,the actors ,players are induced and tempted to be corrupt.Dubai is the centre of the corruption.All our Hollywood actors are also obliged to visit Dubai,only for sake of collecting their share of the public loot.

In other words, cops came across something they wouldn't without a warrant. It was dealings within a private organization. They simply went ahead and arrested the chaps without any complaint against them. At best, the players took bribes to perform badly. Cops are ones who wrote the book on this.

This is way sneaky.

The cops should have got a warrant once they realized it was not a terrorist attack being planned.

What has essentially happened is that a crime they came across while invading people's privacy - incidentally one in a private organization, not public - led to entrapment and arrest of players.

Letting this go without comment is dangerous, because this essentially means that policiticans can give a list of dissenting voices to "monitor for terrorism or anti-state activities" etc and cops can simply arrest them based on whatever they find - all without warrant. A devastation of civil right to privacy.

No clue how to mess this scene, but something needs done to throw a spanner in this creation of a state where anyone can be monitored without their consent or legal warrant. It can be a HUGE political tool to crush dissent in a country with a rich history of misuse of state machinery to attack dissent or rivals. A huge step back for rights.
