Re: [IAC#RG] Single Issue in PIL dismissed 'Subsidised Alcohol'.

Mr Vaghela seems to be an advocate for Mr & Mrs Thakur, who went to the court & lost the battle. It is not palatable to Mr Vaghela. The point here seems to be only "Susidised Alcohol", that, too, perhaps "High priced like scotch"(hidden message). His crib now is why different quota for a Sepoy & a General, which amounts to inequality; tomorrow, he would say why different pensions?. Here again, as I had argued in a separate thread, he seems to be ill informed. He doesnt know that the quota/limit is fixed for liquor as well as other items (like car etc) based on the purchasing power related to transparent income in terms of salary/pension of an individual and is meant for his bonafide use. If it is not done, there will be high probability of the misuse of the privilege thru pilferage to unauthorised people.
I wonder why Mr Vaghela is blind to the issue of the privilege of MPs, who enjoy unimaginable very high subsidy on the meals/food stuff in Sansad canteen and elsewhere. Where is the right to equality vis-a-vis poor/common man, who wont get food so cheap even if Food Securiry Bill (likely to cause huge deficit financing) gets passed.
Mr Vaghela is also advised to refresh himself on the comments by Navnith Krishnan to his views on "Job of Soldiers---". Can you stick to one thread instead of diverting attention here & there?
Secondly, if he finds defence forces so attractive, can he tell how many of his family members or kith & kin are enjoying/will be ready to enjoy the (illusive) benefits; this will help the forces, which are facing acute shortage of manpower. It seems some one else is using Mr Vaghela to fire from his shoulders. He needs to realise it & avoid wasting his/others' time on useless emails.
To conclude, I wish to reproduce what I said earlier on another (though related) thread:-
" Lastly, I would appeal to others, too, not to waste their energies on these petty issues. There are much bigger battles to be fought like scam after scam, deep rooted corruption, downturn of economy, abrupt fall of rupee, gangrapes of our sisters/daughters, moral degradation of politicians, non-accountability of bureaucracy, failure of the Govt on all fronts, etc etc (list is not exhaustive)".
What are your comments, Mr Vaghela, pertaining to the bigger battles as mentioned above?

Dear All, Single issue raised in PIL by Respected Mrs Nutan Thakur and
serving IPS Officer Respected Mr Amitabh Thakur is 'Subsidised
Alcohol'. That too being provided on Arbitrary Basis - More Quota for
Higher Ranks. Questions raised in PIL are - How desirable it is to
supply 'Subsidised Alcohol' unlike the necessary Food items. And,
whether the Arbitrarily fixed Quota of Liquor Bottles violate the
Right to Equality between the Ranks?
