[rti4empowerment] Our Experiments With Truth

Dear Vishwas

RTI movement which I track regularly is in deep coma. CIC/SIC Orders are worth less than toilet paper, and courts and parties are openly hostile to RTI and activists.

Outside of Maharashtra many RTI Activists are keeping up the struggle against the twin evils of political parties and their paid NGOs like NCPRI on a NATIONAL level.

It is good that veteran activists of Maharashtra like General Jatar sahab and Shahid Burney Sahab are today acknowledging what other RTI veterans outside Maharashtra have been saying for a very long time - that NCPRI and its owners like Aruna Roy are openly corrupt persons working for Congress government.

It is a tragedy that the 2 forks of Humjanenge are not pulling together to pull the broken RTI cart out of the rut it has fallen into.

Here are the 2 latest RTI stories. They are very substantially true. If you love RTI and the country please recognise your common enemy and put up a joint front against them.

Was CIC fixed to keep sinking UPA-II afloat ?

NCPRI activist demands RTI fee be hiked to Rs. 50

It's totally wrong to say that RTI movement has suffered after Mr Kardaley. Gen Jatar, Vijay Kumbhar, Vivek Velankar, Vihar Durve, Sanjay Shirodkar, Mumbai activists like Shaileshji, Bhaskarji, Krishnaraj are all working so hard on it. Most of them got their inspiration from Mr Kardaley. And, many, many more across the country.  Burneyji, From his grave, he must have rebuked for making him the whole and sole of RTI,
