RE: [IAC#RG] Violation of "National Anti-Corruption Strategy" by DoPT officers.

Majority of the people take a wrong direction  while analyzing any important incident. Any bill/ ordinance can be introduced again without any change if the ruling party has  majority in both house of  parliament. So here bill is not an important factor at all.  The most important factor  is Rahul's behaviour and consequences of making  him PM. Italian Sonia  may be a  strong   lady. But she has no control  over his son's erratic behaviour. So it is time to consider the consequences of lifting a person on to a pedestal for which he is not suitable. Rahul's behavior is erratic, like Nero played the fiddle when Rome was burning.  Muhammad Tuglak said one morning that the capital will be shifted to Deogir (now Daulatabad) . Similarly  if Rahul announces  one fine day that  Kashmir will be handed over to  Pakistan to keep good  relation with them. Will  all the  caravan  of slaves/ sycophants  of the Congress   start supporting him? Can we rule out all these possibilities when he is not behaving like a matured leader.

Today,s news that Rahul sets eyes on RTI Act gives an indication about his thinking on bringing political parties within the purview of RTI act. It is further reported that the proposed bill designed to amend the RTI Act to exclude political parties from its purview was referred to the Standing Committee at Rahuls,s insistence. ,People have a right to know the functioning and source of funding of political parties, is atrributed to Rahul,s thinking.
We should press on this view rather than questioning the motive behind CVC,order. Defensible or not defencible at least this order has shifted focus on opaque functioning of political parties.

Hullo Pl quickly ask Rahul about RTI being made applicable for political
parties . I would like to ask a dozen questions . I am sure he would like to
take the lead in agreeing to this after he condemned in a hurry the
ordinance to protect the convicted guys !!! Seshadri

Dear Mr. Beniwal

It is of the CVC (Central Vigilance Commission) - which is administratively
under DoPT.
http://www.cvc.nic.in/nacs26082010.htm

BUT, the NACS is an extremely badly drafted document which has been drawn up
by some NGOs and corrupt ex-babus. It is still in "final draft" form since
2010 and it is a major embarrassment to DoPT and UPA.

So I am only using it to "poke" DoPT.
Hope this clarifies.
