Re: [IAC#RG] Are the rapist enjoying full protection in India?

You are very correct that it is precisely the Institutes where Chetan
Bhagat studied and where 3 Idiots was partially filmed that these
"rapes" and other criminal offences were allegedly committed by people
in authority at public authorities. The Chief Administrative Officer
of IIM Bangaloire (where 3I was filmed) Indu Shekar Vassist has
already been sacked in May 2013 for sexually assaulting the (lady)
doctor of IIM-B over the course of 3 years, starting from when she was
a probationer there.

The Institute IIM-B, was trying its best to cover up the matter,
initially using the Gender Committee which recommended dismissal only
after a public outcry, and only acted to sack him after the Karnataka
High Court effectively ordered them to do so.

FYI: I have already spent a few days at IIM-A (whose PhD program I
didn't join in 1984 when I learned their so-called FPM was "fake" and
unrecognised)
