Dear Arvind (National Convenor - Aam Aadmi Party),

I'm so glad that the misunderstandings caused by Kiran (Bedi) are being resolved by our mutual well wishers. A clarification of sorts was also released on behalf of Annaji 2 days ago in the Indian Express which has expedited matters.

If we are to cooperate in this (Semi)-Final War, the serious allegations against your senior party members (Mayank Gandhi, Anjali Damania and Prashant Bhushan) must be resolved as you had publicly promised on 20 Oct 2012. The 3 months for the AAP's Lokpal to submit its report has expired yesterday, I trust that AAP's Lokpal was as effective as institution you had claimed it would be, and the proof of the pudding would be evident from its report which you would place in public domain in a day or two.

Warmly

IT IS NOT VERY MUCH DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THE GOVERNMENT IS ALREADY DOING EXCEPT FOR SOME LONG TERM MEASURES TO STRENGTHEN OUR DEFENSES.
I WOULD SUGGEST A MUCH BIGGER ROLE FOR RAW. IT SHOULD ACTIVELY WORK ON THE MEDIA AND THE POLITICIANS TO CREATE A FAVORABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR INDIA.ALSO OUR ANSWER FOR COVERT OPERATIONS BY PAKISTAN SHOULD BE COVERT OPERATIONS.

Dear All,
As a principle, no member of IAC should use the forum to cavass the interest of any class. Please remember Gandhiji's last man. Any concession to anybody is at the cost of the poorest and the hungriest. Even the current formula of pay/pension based DearnessAllowance is most unfair to the pooer sections of unorganized sector. DA should be based on minimum need for survival.

Hi All,
Maybe we need to initiate "contempt of Court" proceedings against Mesrs Rajdeep who collect toll from Ropar to Phagwara and Ropar to Dasuya. They were charging toll about 2 years ago, then they stopped, BUT have now started charging toll again. ALSO, between Delhi and Chandigarh NHA1 does not recognise this order. Maybe we need a stir to have us listed on the exempt board on display!

Friends,
As per the attached letter, it is apparently clear that clause of exemption stands. Wonder where is the hitch?
Perhaps our friend Navdeep shall give a clarification along with the relevant copy of the SC judgment quoted in the case.

Re: [IAC#RG] IMPORTANT EMAIL about IAC

Hello Dear Sarbajit.Roy,

Keep up the spirit in your endeavour for the nation  to grow with honour and dignity in the hands of people having moral values and courage to meet the challenges which lay ahead with the nation. I express my deep concern for this cause and mission and wish to be associated with it come what may at this age of 75 years.

Arvind may still remember what I said on 17th June or so in 2011 at Press Club of India that let the Government agree to bring any kind of Bill (about which I was sure that they will not bring out any bill) which can be amended accordingly to the need of the provisions contained because even the Constitution of India has gone through innumerable amendments after it was enacted.  But he said no let us have clear view whether the Govt. is bringing out the Lokpal Bill or not and we will insist our own Lokpal Bill and nothing less. Nothing happened even after 18 months of the statement where Anna, Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhushan were also present in that Press Conference on that day. Any how, let us see which way the wind blows after we come together for this mission.

Jai Bharat,

Yours sincerely,

Dear Friends

For the last 3 months Dr. Kiran Bedi has been running a smear campaign to persuade respected Anna Hazareji to "claim" / "reclaim" the India Against Corruption banner / brand-name  etc - call it what you will.

We have also seen an explosion of venom on this list from all sides - which we have tried to circulate even though some of it was very abusive and even made absolutely false personal allegations against me.

I am glad to announce that due to efforts of our well-wishers (after all we are all together in this epochal movement against corruption, and we greatly respect IESMs etc) Shri Anna Hazareji has announced that he is dropping his claim to the IAC brand name etc and will close his Delhi office.

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/Anna-drops-IAC-brand-name--to-close-Delhi-office/1061067/

IAC therefore salutes respected Anna Hazareji, we will always love, respect and cherish his pioneering work against corruption, and shall follow as closely as we can in his footsteps and uphold his ideas and principles.

We respect Anna's view that the BJVA will be a grassroots movement of the people of BHARAT. We at IAC, however, shall convey forcefully the ideology of the people of INDIA. Both India and Bharat are 2 birds sitting on the same tree - always together and needing to co-exist. We view our Armed Forces and the IESM movement as the natural link between India and Bharat, and are confident that together we shall forge this nation into a pure and righteous nation such as History has never seen before.

We fully support Annaji's meeting at Patna, and even though Annaji may not now have a home or office in Delhi due to the financial crises, he is always in our hearts and ever welcome at my own humble abode or those of IAC's officer bearers.

The paper put forward by Major Gen. I am ATTACHING a piece on the stand that India might take on the present India-Pakistan stand-off, since there appear to be either peace-at-all-costs or give-'em-hell approaches in the public domain.

IAC would certainly have a view on this subject.

Dear Mr Sarabjit Roy,
Winnability is not the only criteria whilst contesting for
elections.The guy must
not have a record of dishonesty, criminality.Martin Luther King
said"The ultimate
tragedy is not the brutality of bad people but the silence of the good
people".The
racial discrimination in USA was overcome with long struggle starting
from Lincoln,
now you have a black President.
If the elected leaders of India does not curb corruption, criminals in
Politics this
nation is doomed. As per ADR 33% of our legislators have criminal background, the
will of the remainder 67% must prevail. We Indians have a crab mentality, very
adept at running others down. The attachment on FM Cariappa is
illumanitive, soldiers do not compromise on honesty, integrity,
welfare of troops and prepared
to die for the nation. I consider the Indian armed forces the peoples'
armed forces
as it is a voluntary force. Unfortunately the politicians, bureaucrats
treat us with
suspicion do not give the due as the defenders of the nation. The Govt of the day
should have perspective on strategy, tactics for national security
both external,and
internal.Corruption in defence procurements saps the armed forces of
vital preparedness. It is routine for the service chiefs to point out
to PM,RM the shortfalls
in their respective service, Pmo's office leaked out such a
correspondence between
the PM and COAS, it amounts to high treason. I personally held 100 Top Secret
Files, had I BEEN DISHONEST THE NATION'S SECURITY WOULD HAVE BEEN
COMPROMISED.
When I visited my niece in Mumbai , travelling to Pune on the
expressway the toll tax was waived on showing my exservices I card.
Wonder why other states do not
standarddise.Because of the apathy towards the armed forces more and more
younger generation do not join the armed forces resulting in huge
shortage of officers.
The nation that does not respect its armed forces will always be in
peril. Indian history bears testimony to the fact that we Indians have
been subjugated by foreigners for centuries. We have to rid of ji
hazoori, slavish mentality from our
psyche.
Even today my icons are Rabindranath Tagore, Bankim Chatterjee, Subhash Bose'
who gave the nation JANA GANA MANA, JAI HIND, VANDEMATARAM. Raja
Rammohan Roy , Vidyasagar, who reformed our archaical society. MAHATMA
GANDHI gave us Satyagraha, the struggle to oppose evils with truth and
collective
effort.
People like you must lead the transformation process not like politicians with
divide and rule vote bank politics, and denigrating other Indians.God
has given us
enough intellect to distinguish right from wrong.I am now 73 years
old, distressed
for the poverty stricken, helpless common people, personal happiness cannot
come if we do not follow Swami Vivekanadas precepts of HE MURKHA, HE

Re: [IAC#RG] IMPORTANT EMAIL about IAC

Dear Col Nauni

At a basic level none of us had a problem with Anna per se. What some members had problems with were :-

a) Anna getting swayed and distracted by clever persons like Dr Bedi, who would surround him and make him keep changing his statements. Kiran Bedi realised that without Anna she was nothing and that Team-Arvind had no place for an autocrat like her (ie. 2 autocrats in AAP). This also came out when the 5 member team for JanLokpal Bill was finalised and she was left out.

b) The sequence of operations for the split between IAC and AAP was not allowed to be completed as informally agreed. The essential problem with the previous IAC was their lack of intellectual depth. This was evident during the process of drafting the Jan Lokpal Bill. Our team was supposed to overcome that. Unfortunately Dr. Bedi was constantly sabotaging us, and newcomers like Gen.VKS and Col Kochar etc, who didnt know who we were, got unfortunately caught in the cross-fire.

I am glad that matters seem to be getting resolved through good sense prevailing everywhere, and we can each get on with the roles we are supposed to play in this anti-corruption drama.

PS: you may have missed that IAC has already "saluted" Anna for his pioneering work against corruption in my previous email.

Dear Rai ji, Namaskar.
I am from Kolkata. I was a keen observer and a big supporter of Arvind ji and AAP. But I am  quite puzzled seeing very mute or even zero response of AAP and Arvind ji on the hate speech of Akbaruddin Owaisi and on the brutal act of Pakistani soldiers on Indian soldiers. Can you please explain me this?

Dear All,

I think that our politicians have successfully divided the public movement. The best thing for them is divide and rule, the old British dealings in Our country. It seems you all including Anna Hazare, are playing into the hands of so called political class and they will continue to make fool of common man. Need of the hour is unite under one grand umbrella and fight it out against the political class.

It is not the fight of Anna Hazare or Arvind Kejriwal alone, it will have to be by all of us Indians together. This cannot be done without forming one grand party against, all the present lot of NETAS and Political Parties,( they are all one and united in looting the resources of our country), this cleaning of dirt cannot be done from outside, because time for those demands have already gone in past, people of this country have already seen it.

Election is an important issue, which a common man has to deal with, it can't be left for last few days before elections. People like us have to be united under one grand umbrella. I appeal to all of you to stop bickering s against each other. Electoral Reform will come later, first our people have to win election under present rules. Our politicians are confidant they can manage it. Feed the vote bank and divide opposition votes. So if you want to achieve Jan Lokpal, Electoral Reform where people can choose and select it's representative, decentralization of power to common man to strengthen the democratic fabric etc...etc.. then please unite. Show us the unity for the sake of Nation and rise above petty politics.

Aam Aadami Party (AAP) is one such umbrella or platform by the people, for the people. It's constitution allows common man to select it's own candidate for elections. Election expenses and campaigning becomes peoples own project, because a win or loss will be of the people. Our objective is to cleanse and change the system of governance and not just change the government. Afterwards, let it be any government. it has to run by the rules made by common man. It becomes our duty to get united and work towards this goal. who does it, is immaterial.

Then we ask where the rent money is coming from, they tell some "anonymous" donor has given 12 lacs for paying the rent of 1 lac per month.

There is no anonymous donationtion, it is stolen money of poor people of Bengal and Kiranbedi, Anna and VeekY are only Congress persons and stealiong our money. Howe many other states she has done same cheating will come out in police investigation.

Hello Gen VK

Since last 3 months Anna has done nothing for IAC and has not contacted IAC coordinators. All he doing is creating confusion in mind of public. Dos he have any action plan, if so what it is ? Now there is no need or hope for Lokpal Bill. That phase of IAC movement is over and nobody wants Lokpal Bill not even NCPRI.

We had also collected over Rs. 28 lakhs which was given to IAC for Anna through Kiran Bedi. Team Arvind is not replying to us how the money was used, they say we should contact Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi or anyone else we care in IAC as they were collecting funds for PCRF not for IAC If you have any idea about our money, please inform us or return the same to us immediately with interest.

Re: [IAC#RG] IMPORTANT EMAIL about IAC

Thanks for withdrawing from the anti -Anna campaign some of your members have been spreading. One may oppose his philosophy or the conduct of his ant-corruption crusade but none has any business to use abusivew language and even be little him for his humble beginning as a soldier in the Army. In fact he should be saluted for his courage and dedication for a great national cause.
