Re: [IAC#RG] Chattisgarh for President's Rule ?

I do think what is required is change in the eligibility to vote, there should be minimum qualification of post graduation to be eligible to vote to start with, otherwise the vote buying, either by muscle force or through money power will never end and crooks will keep getting elected and rule and loot the country.

Re: [IAC#RG] Most of Congress top leadership in Chattisgarh injured or dead in Maoist attack

You are right sir. It is time the political / babu / judicial class introspect and admit to the failings of the nation: mal-administration / absence of speedy and honest judicia system / criminalisation of politics, etc. Otherwise, we are surely not very far away from the French, Russia / China / Vietnam way.

I feel today Modi is the only person looks clean he is neither acceptable to BJP nor others. Because he will tackle corruption which on onevwants

[IAC#RG] Fw: Most of Congress top leadership in Chattisgarh injured or dead in Maoist attack

Instead of getting prosecuted and hanged these some of the Nehruvian Congi-s are killed. Very bad. They are relieved without torture.

Indira Gandhi had tortured Jai Prakash Narain indirectly by not medically examining Jai Prakash Narain before putting him Jail after arrest. She had also avoided prosecution on Jai Prakash Narain and many others in several tens of thousands in 1975-1976 before and after putting them in Jail. She had not gone through the report of doctor of JP, where salt was banned in his food. Salty food was being provided to Jai Prakash Narain, which had caused the failure of his both the kidneys. I know Indiaresits is Pro-Nehruvian Congress, and it would never publish my comments. Similar is the case with gs@sainiksangh.org.
I would also bar them from sending emails to me.

Re: [IAC#RG] Most of Congress top leadership in Chattisgarh injured or dead in Maoist attack

My response was to the  reaction / expression of political parties to this occurance since people of their clan were affected.

These types of reactions are not noticed when the lives of fellow indians ( general public) and members of para Military is lost in similar attacks.

I m not commenting on the genesis of the movement,  for which also this political is solely responsible through its policies or lack of it.

As a ordinary member of Indian union my concern is why not similar reactions / expression s when an ordinary citizen or solder is killed

I can only express my anguish, I can't,  even,  and possibly you can't make laws, or make the law makers see the reason.

They know it very well.....but choose to keep quite.

Today's OP-ed is a report of what happened in the sometimes tense Open House which TRAI convened on 18.05.2013 at New Delhi.

I had just finished stating that there was a serious problem of media cartelisation in the country and a few large media houses controlled everything, to which  Arnab Goswami of Timesgroup took the rather dubious exception (although put across very smoothly) that Times TV was "very small" at only 0.5% of the media market and that there wasn't any such cartelization problem as was being highlighted.

Whereupon, as the news report says, "Pointing to another participant, who had moments earlier said "3 or 4 media houses" control everything, Mr. Khullar shot back, "There is a large body of Indian citizens who feel that way. Wake up and smell the coffee."

This is a real issue to be fought by IAC and Sarabjit Roy is doing a good job.
The other members should give their views after serous consideration to strenthen his hands.
1.foreign control of the media by Star, CNN and such others is most unhealthy. foreign holdings of all media houses should be  inpublic d omain. No more should be allowed.
2. Cartelisation to be broken.

3. No ban on religous discourses-as freedom of religion is guaranteed-
4. Govt. support to media houses through largesse in varour forms must be controlled and subject to public/parliament scrutiny.
5. no discretionary powers to beaurocrats..
6. Govt. should not be the sole decider of what is in 'Public interest'.
7. Consultation with Stake holders should not be an eye wash. Use of Hindi is a must for wider participation
8.Sever limit on advertisemnts/commercials.The corporates indulge in all kinds unhealthy portrayals of social, religous and ethical isues and thus try to mould civil society in a pliant image. The underlined message is that business interest is more important than family and society.

Subject: [IAC#RG] Public Grievance about TRAI's functioning

BY EMAIL

Dear Dr. Khullar,

On behalf of the members of India Against Corruption ("IAC") I am constrained to bring to your personal attention that vast sections of the Republic of India are being deprived of the opportunity to participate in TRAIs' public consultation processes because the consultation papers are not being made available to them in the Hindi language. Neither is the factum of these papers being placed in public domain getting  updated on the TRAI's Hindi version website which still dates to 8-Dec-2011.
http://www.trai.gov.in/Content/Hindi/consultationpaper.aspx?qid=13

A case in point being the recent consultation paper on Television Rating Agencies. I had previously complained to Mr. A.M.Govil about this, as I was informed he is responsible for Hindi language adoption in TRAI, but have not heard anything from him.

The official language policy of the Union is pretty clear " .. Hindi in Devanagari script is the official language of the Union  .. In addition to Hindi language English language  may also be used for official purposes."

http://www.rajbhasha.nic.in/GOLPContent.aspx?t=endolact
http://www.rajbhasha.nic.in/GOLPContent.aspx?t=endolrules

The TRAI is headquartered in Region "A" under the abovesaid Rules.

I am sure you will agree that the deliberate policy of TRAI to only publish consultation papers in English is therefore not only illegal but also racist and a corrupt device devised to shut out participation of ordinary citizens, whom TRAI views as pests, so that the commercial stakeholders (vested interests) who are now mainly foreigners have the free run of both your Authority as well as the Ministries from where they originate such obnoxious proposals to obtain TRAI's necessary recommendations under the Act.

Since the bulk of IAC's membership is more fluent in Hindi, I would be obliged if a formal reply is given to me how TRAI shall ensure larger public participation in its consultative processes. The 2 responses received from the individual category to the consultation paper on Television Rating Agencies should be sufficient to alert you to the serious problem the IAC is highlighting exists within your Authority.

I am also formally calling upon the TRAI not to proceed with the consultation paper on Television Rating Agencies till genuine participation of all stakeholders, especially ordinary citizens, is ensured.

With best wishes

Dear All,

For ex-servicemen - once considered officers and gentlemen - this sort of exchange of email messages is disappointing and unbecoming.

Please do not try to guess my political leaning from the words in this message. You will be wrong.

With my regards and much sadness -

Dear Gaur,

MMS is a non entity. He is a PUPPET.

No one seems to be talking about the Political Head of UPA, Mrs. Sonia. She is the fountain head of corruption. She is th eone who sold Telecom, Railway and other lucrative Ministries to parties like AIDMK when UPA Govt was formed.

Why no one is talking about the Helicopter deal with Italy!! Where is the Congress getting its thousands of crores from!!

MMS did what a puppet is supposed to do!! SO LET US GET AFTER THE REAL CULPRITS AND HER ADVISERS!!

MMS is a non entity!!

According to poll predictions, NDA is expected to get 170+ and UPA 130+. for a majority both will need 70+ and 110+. With parties like SP and BSP the difference of 40 seats will be wiped out. With congree expertise in bribing an cajoling, they may still be able to cobble up the need numbers.

[IAC#RG] "Wake up and smell the coffee"

http://www.thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/media-crossholding-in-cross-hairs/article4743586.ece#comments

Mr Ravinder

Pray what is your practice ? Capitalism, communism, socialism , national socialism ,the third any new you have innovated –as there isn’t any more to my knowledge  ! From what I make out you are a tactician in a free market capitalist battlefield  . This is adorable but we have to do a lot more  so simple patriots to be in win win situation ! First be clear what nature of “ism” we must follow.

Thank you

Dear Lokesh

The reason you are on this IAC list (IAC is an apolitical movement) is so that you can understand how to use your vote tactically to maximum effect since power is not with so called "national parties" any more but has shifted to the states.

Firstly, the Polls offered "binary" choices to Respondents. So if NaMo gets 37% support but MMS gets 12% and RG gets 13%, it does not explain the breakup if MMS is out and it is NaMo versus "Congress"

Secondly, all the polls confirm what IAC has known all along, "NaMo as PM" has a hugely polarising effect, and Muslims and other marginalised votebanks are going to vote tactically. In key States like UP and Bihar, putting NamO in as BJP's PM candidate is going to ensure that Muslim votes go (as a block) either to SP or BSP (in UP) or to RJD(Laloo) in Bihar.

Thirdly, Muslim voters (especially Sunnis) are not fools. In Bihar they have completely seen through the fake fight between Nitish and BJP. They know very well that Nitish Kumar is only acting out that he is opposed to Modi as PM to get the 17% Muslim votes. You should remember that in 2009 NDA only got 37% of the vote in Bihar. Now with a weak Congress the party which will benefit most in Bihar is RJD if NamO is projected. Same will happen in UP, BJP may pick up 3 or 4 extra seats in urban areas but all remaining votes in RURAL will consolidate against BJP's partner.

Fourthly situation in states like Andhra and Maharashtra is also interesting. Andhra is lost to Congress if polls are held now, but Maharashtra under Prithviraj Chavan is going to throw up a massive dividend for Congress due to Muslims if NaMo is projected as BJP's PM candidate - which is why Shiv Sena is also not in favour of NamO as PM.

Fifthly, if LS polls are held now, neither BJP nor Congress will get majority and it will be a 3rd Front Coalition with somebody like Jayalaliltha or Mulayam or Naveen as PM

Sixthly, Congress persons are not fools to get trapped into projecting Clown Prince as PM like BJP desperately wants. Congress (power without responsibility) will go to polls under Sonia and with any dummy like PC (most acceptable non-Gandhi face) to be made as PM "if" they win.

Seventhly, India has always voted on religious and caste lines. RURAL groupings like farmers in OBC / non-OBC category are going to be important "swing" factors this time round. NaMo does not do well here at all, so BJP will have to make tactical alliance with its traditional opponents like Yadavs, Jatavs etc which will fragment the vote further.

Eighthly, all parties (especially BJP) are hoping for a "Wave". At last moment they are expecting something (like a judgment against MMS from Supreme Court in Coalgate) which will swing it for them.

So wait and watch what happens in the October 2013 semi-finals where BJP will do much better and NaMo "wave" will get stronger.

Re: [IAC#RG] India's rigged EVM voting machines

I don't know how much you are saying correct and i don't want to comment on your topics, but this time i could resist to write a live example seen by me during counting of votes in state assembly election as i was present there.
(1) candidates of Political parties are marked at top in alphabetically and independents are mentioned thereafter alphabetically in the EVM.
(2) All the EVM opened there are having trend that around 90%-95% votes have shared by top 4 politically parties candidates.
(3) One EVM suddenly came and 90-95% votes have been shares by 4 independents from Bottom to above , we cant assume that Independent can get votes, as there are around 10 independent candidates and only 4 from Bottom to top get theses votes and candidates of political parties get votes in tune of 3-7 only. It can easily be seen that result shown by EVM is reversed and that EVM kept separately by the officer to decide after final counting.
(4) As the difference between winning candidate and losing (IInd) candidate was huge and that EVM can't have any impact on the result, therefore has been ignored.

(5) But this shows there can be error or fraud may be possible.

Yesterday IAC conducted a "poll".
Immediately there was a flurry of abuse saying that the results were impossible.

For decades the Congress and BJP have been rigging the elections using their  "black box" EVM voting machines. Then somebody "stole" one of these  machines and what was an open secret ("insecure EVMs") got confirmed.

Previous CECs like Lygdoh and Krishnamurthy were said to be part of this racket and had apparently even opened a Joint Venture to conduct this rigging business after their retirement. Other CECs and ECs were part of the Sai Baba fixing network which controlled BOTH the Congress and the BJP.

Now due to complaints of citizens the ECI has come up with a new device to buy time. The so-called "paper trail" EVMs. This is also a fraud. Don't believe it.

http://ibnlive.in.com/news/election-commission-ready-with-new-evm/384187-37-64.html

Let me tell you where the scam lies and why there is 1 and only 1 fix for it.

The SCAM : "Secrecy of the ballot". <-- for decades Indians have been brainwashed with this myth. Attack this and you are abused.

The SOLUTION:  Every vote cast has to be openly published with the name and address of the voter whose identity has been established. It is the responsibility of the State to see that nothing happens for casting one's vote for the opposition. To prevent terrorism and goondaism at least 80% cvotes must be cast for a result to be declared. Only when that is achieved can we say that there is true democracy in India. Until then gooda-ism will flourish.

PS: This applies equally for all votes cast in Parliament.
