Dear Madam

On behalf of the Adi Dharm religion, and thereby on behalf of about 6.47 million registered voters, I am greatly troubled to learn from the online media like MoneyLife.in and IndiaNewsCo.com that Mr. Raghuram Rajan, who has still not been appointed as RBI Governor, has apparently started issuing atrocious instructions (without any authority) to compulsorily install bio-metric ATMs in Banks which shall result in my flock being compulsorily fingerprinted and which so far we have refused to do on religious grounds as conscientious objectors.

FYI, as per the information today on RBI website, the RBI Governor is one Dr. D Subbarao, who incidentally had steadfastly refused to make UIDAI mandatory in banking sector (please see)
http://rbi.org.in/Scripts/righttoinfoact.aspx

(ix)A directory of its officers and employees

linking to
http://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rdocs/content/docs/201103.xls
(as downloaded today and attached for your ready reference and records)

We are also scandalised by the several other rumors circulating in Delhi's power corridors of RBI's outrageous decisions to facilitate compulsory fingerprinting given soon after Mr. Rajan entered RBI, and Mr Rajan is by some accounts an American citizen, for promptly decreeing biometric Bank ATMs so some handpicked US based companies will be favoured in a massive purchase scandal running into about Rs. 36,000 crores and pursuant to which Mr Rajan has allegedly been initially bribed about Euro 50,000 routed from a German Bank under the garb of some fake award.

In view of the aforesaid allegations and rumours which are greatly troubling my co-religionists, I would request you to kindly clarify the correct position so that Adi Dharm Council can communicate the same to our children. We would be obliged if the same can be done by return email to me and by 6:00 PM on 5-Oct-2013 in any case, beyond which we are not interested in knowing your answer.

OVERSTRESSED LITIGANT COLLAPSES IN THE BOMBAY HIGH COURT.

MY 16 YRS OLD PIL HEARD FIRST TIME: TERMED IRRELEVANT NOW AND DISPOSED OF.

It was Friday 3-30 P.M. 27th Sept. 2013.

Bench : Justice Dhananjay Chandrachud and Justice M.S.Sonak.

I was waiting for my matter to reach for hearing and a big thud was heard from the chair just behind me. The full court room rose on its feet and looked behind. Judges got up and came down.

What happended?

A man collapsed with his chair upside down. Judges left for a while to their chambers. People around turned to help. Doctor was summoned from High Court clinic. Registrar General was standing tense. Patient was in coma. It took 20 minutes for the doctor to bring him back to the senses. Judges came to soothe him. He was crying with folded hands before the judges in prayer posture who couldn't assure him when his matter would be heard. They appeared helpless. Judges went out for few minutes and resumed work again. Meanwhile I asked the unfortunate litigant: 'Since How many years are you fighting you case?' 'six years' replied the man still crying while being taken out.

Immediately thereafter my PIL No. 902 of 1998 reached and I started argument. I was interrupted by the bench stating that my PIL on the irregularities and corruption in junior college admissions was based on 1997 GR (Government Resolution) and subsequently several judgements of the Supreme Court were pronounced on the subject, hence my PIL couldn't be entertained.

I was appearing in person and said that I could argue the matter in lieu of those judgements and justify every contents and prayers in the petition and prepared to take the utmost risk even at the cost of its dismissal. I said I was not at fault in delay of 16 long years! But the judges prevailed on their stand and 'allowed' me to file another PIL! I argued in vain that it involved lot of reworking and receiving info. through RTI and waiting for days and days for the information to be received. Judges said, they couldn't help. I further submitted that during last 16 years I would have urged hundred times to all Chief Justices to hear this PIL but in vain.

My heart cried from within for not geting justice to the poor and merited students but judiciary as usual stood insensitive.

If this is the fate of the Public Interest Litigations what about private and government litigations pending since 20-30 years in almost all courts across the country?

[IAC#RG] The RTI Amendment Bill 2013

Dear Sarabjit

Just read this excellent attached NCPRI submission of Veeresh Malik, with you, on RTI amendments posted to another list (Humjanenge).

Since it is pretty much clear that Rahul Gandhi and Yuva Brigade (Nikhil Dey etc.) will keep political parties in RTI to show up the old PM candidate fogies (MMS and NaMo), the NCPRI (National Campaign for Political Reform in India) could focus on suggesting amendments to the Representation of People Act to enlarge the information required to be maintained by parties which can be disclosed.

Till now they got away by saying "no such information is maintained".

Re: [IAC#RG] WILL MANMOHAN SINGH RESIGN NOW ?

Dear All.
We the people of India have been taken for a ride by the unscrupulous politicians  for the last several years.Characters with superimposed personalities are introduced as the saviours on whom we cherish more. Before he is bundled out,a new avatar comes out .Recently,an MP of amature political leadership could undo a cabinet decision which smacks of a very unpleasant situation that prevails over here .Manmohan Sing who has never contested from a Panchayat ward election was first ordained with the Finance Ministry to be followed with the PM post.He was credited of beeing an IMF man who was conferred with a doctorate for the thesis' PERFORMANCE OF EXPORT DURING 1952-1962',by the Oxford University. Naturally, the solidarity of a person hailing from such a background is irresistable. The million dollars question is ; Are we prepared for a change?

Being a nominated Prime Minister by Sonia Gandhi, it is for Sonia Gandhi to take this decision.
Rahul is playing hot and cold.
Rahul Gandhi has termed  the ordinance  to undo the Supreme court verdict on convicted persons from sitting in assemblies and parliament  as nonsense and said it should be thrown away. After throwing this bombshell, Rahul has written a letter of appreciation to P.M about his wisdom and good work done by him.  Obviously there is a deeper game being played by Sonia's Congress. P.M is 100% loyal to Rahul and Sonia who are running dynastic democracy in India.

Dear Venkataraman,

There are more than one reasons for Manmohan Singh NOT TO REACT.

1.    He is inert and normally does not react.

2.    The Mom has served the Prime Ministership on a paltter, how & why should he react to her son's bullies.

3.     He has to prove his 100% loyality to the Family.

4.     Can anyone think that Manmohan Singh can forward the ordinance on his own (that too going against SC). This was a calculated move (Tabling the ordinance and then snubbing the PM).

5.      Any respectable PM who becomes PM on his own merits would have / should have resigned. Here the scenario is different.

There are so many reasons for him NOT TO REACT. One could write a thesis on the subject.

While , by this statement Rahul Gandhi has tried to improve his public image , what about the public image of Manmohan Singh?  When the Vice President of the leading party in the UPA  makes  such strong  statement in public , Manmohan Singh has to react.
The option for him  is either to defend his decision to issue an ordinance  or  submit his resignation protesting against  the outburst of Rahul Gandhi in public .
At the fag end of UPA II  facing all round criticism, Rahul Gandhi has given  Manmohan Singh  an  opportunity to redeem his image by quitting on a matter of principle  where the Prime Minister's decision  is being questioned by the Vice President  of  his own party.

WARREN BUFFET HIRES SONIA GANDHI'S SON-IN-LAW

In news that has relieved lovers of money everywhere, legendary
investment guru Warren Buffet has announced that the search for his successor is finally over. New Delhi-based entrepreneur Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Indian Supremo Sonia Gandhi, will soon be taking over as head of Berkshire Hathaway.

"Despite an extremely rigorous gym schedule, this extraordinary young man has become a billionaire in just four years," said the Sage of Omaha. "Not only did he convince real estate giant DLF to give him an entire suburb of Delhi at throwaway prices, he also got them to lend him the money, interest free. My sources inform me that he is also acquiring two or three other Indian states, but he's too modest to talk about these things."

Members of Sonia Gandhi's domestic staff have welcomed the move.

"I kiss his boots on a regular basis," said Law Minister Salman
Khurshid, "It's amazing how smooth he keeps the leather."

"He's extremely dynamic," said baggage-handler Manish Tewari. "When I carry his bags at the airport, I can barely keep up. And it's not just because he doesn't have to go through security."

DLF has rubbished allegations of corruption, and maintains that all
dealings have been completely transparent.

"We did everything very openly," said a spokesperson for DLF. "There is no question of favouritism. We are committed to providing the same benefits to anyone who marries Priyanka Gandhi."

Others have also earmarked Vadra for international glory.

"Let me just get through this Syrian problem," said US President Barack Obama. " I'm going to use this man's help to revive the US
economy."

Today,s news that Rahul sets eyes on RTI Act gives an indication about his thinking on bringing political parties within the purview of RTI act. It is further reported that the proposed bill designed to amend the RTI Act to exclude political parties from its purview was referred to the Standing Committee at Rahuls,s insistence. ,People have a right to know the functioning and source of funding of political parties, is atrributed to Rahul,s thinking.
We should press on this view rather than questioning the motive behind CVC,order. Defensible or not defencible at least this order has shifted focus on opaque functioning of political parties.

IAF chief nervous over biggest defence deal

Three months before he hangs up his flying boots, Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal N.A.K. Browne has expressed nervousness and uncertainty for the first time over the country's largest-ever military contract currently under negotiation: the $20-billion medium multirole combat aircraft (MMRCA) deal for 126 French-built Rafale fighters.Browne, who has expressed consistent optimism that a deal would be signed by the end of 2013, has struck his first note of anxiousness, no longer willing to put a time-frame to the deal, providing perhaps the clearest indication that it could be delayed.
"We have no back-up plan. If the MMRCA deal isn't signed, there will be a rapid decline in fighter numbers between 2017 and 22. It is imperative that the deal is signed quickly," Browne said at his annual press conference on Friday.
The IAF celebrates its 81st Air Force Day on October 8.
"Negotiations on the MMRCA are still on. Cannot place a timeline on when the deal will be signed. If the deal is delayed till next year, the first aircraft will arrive only in 2017," the chief said.
Over the past 18 months, the Chief has consistently sounded hopeful, assured that the deal would be signed variously by early 2013, mid-2013 and end 2013. For the first time, he doesn't sound so sure anymore.
The sudden death on Wednesday of Arun Kumar Bal, the Ministry of Defence's pointsperson on acquisitions and specifically the MMRCA deal, is tragic, and a major setback to the deal, since he was fully in control of the acquisition, said Browne.
Bal had suffered a massive heart attack earlier this week near his Delhi residence.
The Defence Ministry has been in contract negotiations with the Rafale's maker Dassault Aviation for over 18 months now, in a matrix of highly complex discussions over offsets, transfer of technology, maintenance and several other heads in what is easily the country's most strenuous acquisition effort.
In January 2012, the Dassault Rafale was won the high-voltage competition, defeating the European Typhoon and four other jets, including the US-built F-16, F/A-18, Sweden's Gripen and the Russian MiG-35.The Indian Air Force currently operates 34 combat aircraft squadrons, comprised of Su-30 MKIs, MiG-21s, MiG-29s, Mirage 2000s, MiG-27s and Jaguars.
Against a sanctioned strength of 42 squadrons, this already represents a serious shortfall.

RE: [IAC#RG] WILL MANMOHAN SINGH RESIGN NOW ?

These politicians will never change. All of them are self centered and selfish. For them only the party matters. Nation can go to hell!!

Even the AAM ADMI Party has not talked  about voluntarily reducing their perks and salary . I remember Rajaji when he became the CM ( at that time it was PM of Madras province )  fixed his own pay as Rs 500/per month resulting in all MLAS and other ministers taking less than 500 as their pay !!!

Today they are looting the country !! IAC should ask Khejriwal to declare his intention to reduce the salaries and perks of his party men who win the election in Dec. That will surely have some good effect.    Seshadri

Re: [IAC#RG] Violation of "National Anti-Corruption Strategy" by DoPT officers.

I believe it to be a case of utmost cunning that this U turn was made:

Consider the following advantages:

1. Hijacking the oppose corruption initiative from opposition forces
2. Tell the world who is the boss in waiting without actually taking the responsibility till the feedback from public becomes apparent
3. Complete the process of bringing any remaining anti Yuvraj individuals to their knees
4. The brazen aggressive style in which it was done may have been prior calculated to connect to the youth of India today - 12 crore in number supposed to vote for the first time- who will look for and may be more comfortable with a careless youth image and big dreams rather than the meticulous hard working Modi type.

etc.

RE: [IAC#RG] WILL MANMOHAN SINGH RESIGN NOW ?

As much Mr. Manmaun Singh has been acting as an obedient boy, his frustration level has reached to a good understanding and adult maturity. He knows now why Rahul did when he was about to meet Pakistani counterpart and one of his other master, Obama in New York. MMS best advisors might be advising him to play dumb like Rahul did for some time. Even though, Sonia & Rahul wish for his real action (resignation) based on the morality, he may resist and give them little hard time. On other words, he may not step down willingly unless forced based upon constitution of India.
