RE: [IAC#RG] DELHI POLICEMAN WHO STOPPED SPEEDING CAR OF DELHI DY. C M

Who so ever is controlling traffic police, are they doing their job? Criminals and petti politicians roam about freely with red and blue beacons on their cars, at crossings there is free for all - vehicles obstructing lanes for traffic coming from opposite side as well as cars tuning right obstructing traffic of all other lanes - all in the presence of half a dozen policemen. There is never a challan or fine for these vehicles causing huge and un necessary jams. No vehicle bothers for pedastrians even at pedestrian crossings. On Delhi Gurgaon expressway, where slow vehicle - 3 wheelers were not permitted, they are now ruling the roost and run in the fast lanes, other traffic crawling behind them, after 9 PM, trucks blocking all the 4 lanes causing all other traffic to crawl zigzag to move along.

#yiv4138037557 If the
police was under the control of the State Govt., the
policeman would have not dared to Challan the Dy. C.M at the
risk of transfer/suspense.It is precisely for such
reasons that they want the police under their control to do
their bidding.
But is charging Rs.400/- the
norm for over-speeding? Is a policeman authorised to collect
on the spot fine? How did the traffic policeman
determined over-speeding? By observation, speedometer or any
other device. There is more to this incident that
meets the eye.JKGaur

DELHI  POLICEMAN  WHO  STOPPED
SPEEDING CAR OF DELHI DY. C
M

It is extremely
gratifying to know
that a traffic policeman in Delhi had the courage of
conviction to stop the
speeding car of Delhi Dy.C.M and he issued a challan of
Rs.400/- to the driver
who had to pay the fine , while the Dy.C.M. simply watched
helplessly.
Certainly, the act of this traffic policeman need to be
recognised and his act
must be commended by every one who decry VIP culture in the
country.

Many
feel strongly about the arrogant behaviour of so called VVIP
s (very
very irritating people)   and VIPs (very
irritating people)  but do nothing.  They have a lesson or
two to learn from this
courageous Delhi traffic policeman, who now looks like a
role model for other
crusaders.

Why did the Delhi
Dy.C.M allow his driver
to drive beyond the permissible speed limit ? Is he not
aware of the rule or he
thought that being a Dy.C.M,  he can
violate all rules. Perhaps, he thought that no traffic
policeman would dare to
stop his car. But, we have a traffic policeman who had the
courage to do so.

Those politicians
who talk about aam
aadmi all the time but conduct themselves
as if they have come from heaven , should know that day is
not far off
when real aam aadmi would assert himself towards the cause
of restoring  probity in public life and responsible
behaviour amongst those in power.
